[Talk] FYI on getting requests filled

I have been filling many requests posted to this group by sending an email to the requestor. I will no longer be doing that because I am part of the group that is trying to revive <rec.arts.ascii>. I have agreed to fill requests there. Over the next few months I will probably post most or all of my collection there. This is a great group. I'm supporting <rec.arts.ascii> for several reasons. One of the main ones is that many system administrators routinely carry the <rec.*> ngs while they often carry few <alt.*> groups. Also, I am sick of spam; I think a properly moderated group is the best solution. Of course, moderation in an art group requires a very light touch; that is what I am hoping we will have in <rec.arts.ascii>. I will continue to support this group whenever I have the time. Please accept my apologies for my previous blank post; I guess my finger stuttered. I have eaten Spam; somehow my recollections of its taste don't equate with yours. BTW, I'm glad you posted the Spam can with Felix Lee's initials on it. I almost didn't see the difference between the two when they were posted here earlier this week.
