I was wondering if there is a way of creating ascii pictures in files that could be accessed through and html file the way gifs are accessed. For example, if you have Could you do something like, ? I want to make my web page more lynx friendly. I figured an ascii artist might know.

This has been discussed before and I don't believe it is possible: the text in ALT strings apeears to recognise neither a surrounding PRE or TT directive, nor an embedded \r\n for newline. -- ^-^-^-@@-^-;-^ http://www.xemu.demon.co.uk/ (..)__u news:alt.smoking.mooses
