New to ascii art

Hi,
I'm new to this ascii art thing(The only ascii art I normally draw is the
Amiga tick), and I've tried drawing some pics which I've icluded below,
hopefully my newsreader won't muck them up when posting.
Any suggestions on improving them would be welcome, as its only my first
attempt.
