One game to rule them all.  Nethack. 
I got nethack-el working the other day.  Now I have one less reason to
leave emacs.

I used pico for a few years until I found that I need something much
more powerful.  I tried vi.  I hated everything about it.  I tried
emacs.  I love it.

Nano was still in its early days when I tried it out.  But judging
from there goal and my needs I couldn't give it time to hope they
changed there mind on its direction.   Emacs offers me everything.
Even nethack.
