this is glory moon pagoda. interested parties r welcome to look at the
jpg pic i made almost a year ago at
http://www.nettaxi.com/citizens/glory. the 2 pics resemble each other
but the ascii one is much wider at the bottom. i'm attempting to
improve it.

well, it was supposed to hold my ascii pics there on 1 of the floor.
and some ascii animations too. but HOWever, due to some setbacks in my
working life (!), the project was postponed and i almost disappeared
from aaa. and now there r only the title page and some javascript
exercises there. i really want it to be done. we'll see.

3rd was a more "daring" attempt. if credits (eucalyptus tree & music)
r not given and links lead to nowhere, dont blame me. they'r not yet
finished. i was just trying to see if the javascript work. cant check
it cos the server is down at the moment.
hey i was straining my brain to write this long stuff. could someone
post a brain/head explosion to describe my present feeling?

I save my animations as whateverthenameoftheanimationis.html and then drag them into Netscape to view them. I don't have to be connected to see them. BRain explosions? You can have a finite animation, you know. You just use slightly different coding. Go to http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/9334/cheerleader.htm#top and look at the source code there. Also, I see that you have used \n"+ instead of \r\n"+ at the ends of your lines. It means that your animation will not work in MSIE. This is from my animation template http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/9334/animlesson.htm#top : : Each line except the last line of all : frames must end with \r\n"+ (backslash, lowercase r, backslash, : lowercase n, quotationmark, plus sign). The last line of each : frame except the last frame must end with a \r", (backslash, : lowercase r, quotation mark, comma). The last line of the last : frame must end with a \r" (backslash, lowercase r, quotation mark) : The ballet scene would be great. And how about doing the Masquerade scene at the beginning of Act II? Now *that* would be challenging! And the mechanical monkey, and of course one mustn't forget the chandelier.... After seeing Glory's animation, I was looking at asciifying a few Phantom scenes myself.
