Can you improve this logo?

This is the logo of my university's ballroom dancing society. I've been
reading this newsgroup for a long time and have been impressed, but this is
the first ascii-art I've actually done.
I originally did a gifscii conversion but it wasn't very good so I changed
all the characters. The gif is at http://sis.bris.ac.uk/~wh7139/bubds.gif and
any help would be much appreciated!
