Can't see it. Can't see it on the puters at work. Can't see it on the
amiga (of course) And EVERYONE is sending me e-mails about how I MUST see it.

(but therre is hope - my biffy is getting a new laptop in a few weeks

I'm viewing with Netscape3 and keep getting a message that the applet
can't start: java.lang.ClassFormatError.

We tried upgrading to Netscape4 but got tons of errors and problems. And
to be really annoying, Netscape4 removed the news, bookmark and mail
files from Netscape3 and renamed them for us so we couldn't find them.
We dumped Netscape4, reinstalled Netscape3. Luckily, we have a backup
tape so we didn't lose our bookmarks.



NOTE: I do not pick up my mail from the idirect address. If you
are e-mailing and hit the reply button, add an "e" to "freent";
its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers.

The applet needs JAVA 1.1. The source code is included but I haven't
checked it in detail. The problem is that Netscape 4.0 didn't support
it complete. Therefore a update to a 4.5 (or higher) version is
recommended.

I prefer uninstalling the old version (complete) and reinstalling the
new one. The advantage of Netscape is that you only need a backup of
the 'user directory' and not several different (IE*).

* Some people say that you need to backup Windows too ... ;)

Rats. I haven't had time until now to look at that zip (nice pic, by the
way) and now it's gone. I gather that it is being moved. I hope so. I
hope so. I think I was first in line for the first StarWars movies. It
would be a shame to miss the ASCIIfied StarWars. (Stay tuned to this

Well, the problem is that we would still like to have access to
Netscape3 for some things. Why? Because.
