hi, I'm looking for software (free, if possible), to produce ASCII-Art. Like writing some text, drawing circles, squares or lines, or drawing freehand, etc. I would also be interested in the following: I want to import some graphics file (bmp, jpg, gif...) and save it as ASCII-Art. Do you know of any? regards, Robert

It's a free (beer) Java application which supports all of this and more. You can download it from http://www.jave.de/ -- Harry Mason ("hjm200.ecs@soton@ac@uk" =~ tr/@./.@/)

ASCII Gen is a possibility. I recently downloaded, installed and have used it with satisfaction. http://www.users.totalise.co.uk/~wardog/ On Fri, 28 Feb 2003 15:56:55 +0100, "Robert Fuchs" <sof...@microfox.donotspam.at> wrote: >hi, > >I'm looking for software (free, if possible), to produce ASCII-Art. >Like writing some text, drawing circles, squares or lines, or drawing >freehand, etc. > (-snip-)
