Talk: Canonical Smiley List Nearing 1300!

Hey all!  I'm kind of excited because my compilation of smileys which is 
recognized as the canonical one on Derek Cashman's Wrecked Humor page, has
almost hit another mile marker -- the list that boasts over 1200 smileys (and
other 1-line symbols) is about to hit the 1300 marker!  That's right, 1300
different smileys and other 1-line symbols all in one big long file.  This
newsgroup has been great in adding to my list, especially recently, and I
want to thank everybody; but, the list isn't quite at 1300 yet -- I need 5
more, only 5, to reach the 1300 marker.  So, keep those smileys coming, because
as soon as I hit 1300, I'll send out the list to my e-mail contacts and get
it posted up here somehow (or to one of the related ascii art groups).  Thanks
to everyone who continues to make this list as big as it is and as successful
as it is.  You can always find the list on my home page (URL below) which
will always be the most up-to-date version of the list.  And to my surprise,
the list has been accessed from my web page over 3000 times since Nov 1, 1995.
The list is a bigger success than I had imagined; thanks everyone!  The list
only gets posted to newsgroups after a variable amount of time which is
dictated by what I feel is worth an update.  So, as soon as I can get those
next 5 smileys, you'll soon see the full list appear on the newsgroup.  Once
again, thanks to everyone who has contributed to the list; I couldn't possibly
list the name of every person who helped, but I want all of you to know that
I truly appreciate it.  See you on the other side of 1300!  ;)
