I wanted bells and whistles, now I got 'em... And Autofill, but I finally remembered where I'd set that and switched it back off. Rendered a lot of "regular postings unreadable, too. Well - thanks for your help, anyway! I'll keep your suggestions in mind and maybe work on it when I'm a little more familiar with Emacs. For the time being, it's back to Pan for ascii-art.
