<BLINK> is not, to the best of my knowledge, standard HTML ... (if it is,
then WHY?) I have a feeling it was a Netscape extension added around the
same time as <FONT ...></FONT> (which is also evil) and BODY tag attributes.

<MARQUEE></MARQUEE> is even worse...

If you are talking about non-compliance with standards, you obviously
haven't seen the complete shash Netscape 4 makes of CSS and HTML4...

ObASCII? Erm... I've run those ASCII Web Browser things too many times, so
just asuume one at this position.
