IOTW they are a cartoon of a child in an animal suit I am not disagreeing here. However, my point of pointing out so many Birdstein variations, is that it is quite unlikely that this cartoon character has been invented before. And while I am at it, the same applies to the many Frogstein variations, it is quite unlikely that this cartoon character has been invented before. The same applies to ... <fill in the other 'stein characters>. Now add to that the peculiar composition of the cast which happens to comprise specifically of frogs, birds, devils, and the other 'stein characters. Add over and above that the myriad of interactions between the cast members in the form of the peculiar storylines, and the possibility of a prior invention of the 'stein cartoons drops to zero. There is a well known story of the random letter generator which will in time and in theory produce all sonnets of Shakespeare (or all possible ascii pics, for that matter) that's the same kind of possibility, namely zero. ================================================================ [] [] [] /( )\ Visit the Gallery of the 'steins!
