p.s. ascii can't line up the "--" marks correctly.
The Celsius 40^ is opposite where 104^ Fahrenheit would be.
similarly   30^ is opposite where 86^ Fahrenheit would be.
            25^ is opposite  77^
            20^ is opposite  68^
            15^ is opposite  59^
            10^ is opposite  50^....the only exact match
             5^ is opposite  41^
             0^ is opposite  32^....water freezes
            -5^ is opposite  23^
           -10^ is opposite  14^
           -15^ is opposite   5^
           -20^ is opposite  -4^....quite uncomfortable
           -25^ is opposite -13^....very uncomfortable
           -30^ is opposite -22^....flesh freezes
           -35^ is opposite -31^....stay inside!
(If I've done my calculations correctly)
