It seems that both our newsfeeds have been flakey.

My ISP has been changing an upstream server and shifting newsgroups
into a cache to make disk space...things have been quite erratic
here for about 3 weeks now and some posts never seem to arrive. Grrrr.

My public posting address has been spamblocked since last
year...that is a very anti-social method, but I post a lot to many
newsgroups so that my junkmail had reached 150 per month and was
rising fast.

You're welcome...I've got a bit of an obsession with Figlet at
present...it'll wear off. :-)

The @s come at the RH edge of the character and must be in a strict
vertical line and the @@ is always at the very bottom line of the
character...so your letters A and C are coded:

  /\ @
 /--\@
     @@
/`@
\,@
  @@

Note that C is narrower in width than A and the @s have to follow the
width of the letter.

     @
     @
The  @@  shows that it is a 3-line font and in this case the @@ bottom
line is reserved for the tails/descenders of the lower case letters.

To get the characters with a space between them you have to add a $
sign ($ = hard space in Figlet) before every @ so that your A and C
then become:

  /\ $@
 /--\$@
     $@@
/`$@
\,$@
  $@@

I've actually done that for my own use and named the font
ejm3lins.flf, the 's' denoting the spaced version...that's how I
would use your font in practice because it is unreadable without the
spacing between each character.
