If you really _are_ going to do that then please UUENCODE the files
first because the Ansi Escape Codes are not acceptable in postings
across Internet. The codes either get stripped from the files or at
worst they can foul up the software operations at some Sites round
the world.

Very few Internet users seem to be aware of the dangers of using
control codes and machine code symbols in postings to newsgroups.

May I also suggest that these uuencoded animation files might be
better placed in say alt.binaries.pictures.ascii with just a Pointer
in alt.ascii-art newsgroup annnouncing that the file has been
posted.

The main disadvantage of alt.binaries.pictures.ascii is that many
Sites expire postings after 48 hours so postings can be missed. An
alternative group might possibly be alt.binaries.pictures.misc which
gets used by many newsgroups in the mainstream hierarchies that do
not know how to deal with Binary files. Binaries are not normally
acceptable in mainstream groups.

Bye,
