Heya,
  REC or ALT?  May I take up the position of the neutral undecided?  I have
  several arguments for both sides:

For REC.A.A:
o All of the major artists on this channel seem to be for it.  I am in favor of
  keeping them happy, so that they'll continue to post, and I can continue to
  grab their stuff for my library.
o It'd be nice to have someone who could keep track of the credits for drawings
  for people who are concerned about being credited.  (Personally, I only care
  when I see my stuff w/ someone else's name)
o Scarecrow puts a lot into this channel already; I'd be interested in what he'd
  do with it.
o Scarecrow needs something else to do besides making new .sig files for
  himself.  :)
o I admit, I tire easily of the nazi-sun logo thread.

For ALT.A-A:
o We already have a low signal-to-noise here; and it is very obvious what the
  noise is.  It's that stuff without pictures.  I can junk those without
  pausing.
o I like seeing *all* of the requests, multiple or not. It gives me an idea of
  what people want.
o There is very little that I would consider TRUE garbage on this channel, like
  the famous MAKE MONEY FAST.  And if we didn't know about scumwaffles like
  these, who would there be to write the scumwaffle's sys-op, to narc on how
  he's abusing internet?  :-)
o Multiple posts of the same pic are kinda nice, since sometimes I decide that
  I *do* want a copy of a pic, after I have hit return. (Example: Aww, gee. I
  really *could* use a pic of Meriday.  Wonder if I'll ever see her again?) :)

In short, I'm not unhappy with alt.a-a, but I don't think that Bob moderating
the group would be such a bad thing, either.  (Call me Mr. Wishy-Washy)
