... is this as result of Colin Douthwaite's post of asciitools.tar.gz
    back in early june?

    if so ... then its likely to be a positive move away from 386 cpu
    dependancy and requirement for DPMI support ...

    ... that i introduced by doing a quick compile of the supplied
    sources and of the other tools that the scripts depended on.

i presume, like me, you don't get a large amount of time to work on
things like this and thus, hopefully, not too much work to produce a
dos executable.
