I run Debian Linux and have a local news server on my PC called "Leafnode",
which fetches news from two soures, my own ISP and another free newsserver.
Leafnode then serves the newsgroups to both my Wife's PC and mine.

I then run "Statnews" on my Leafnode news spool, and it produces the
list I posted on this newsgroup. I an do it for any newsgroups I have
on my Newserver, which is only about 10 atm.

Well I have all posts to this group going bak about one month, as Leafnode
is setup to delete posts over one month to save hard disk space.

To their email address or the group ?

It could be done for sure, espially by Perl programmers! My programming skills
and available time dont allow me to write such an app however.

It would be on this group, but would take a few ideas and a apable programmer.

>It would also be nice to see the signature to messagebody ratio.

True. I may be able to do that but it would take a while, as I'm mid project
atm.
