Re: What is a macrohouse?
>Message-id: <7u2let$mmo$1...@news.inet.tele.dk> >: What does everyone think of this site? Is it ascii art or something >: else. >It is ascii-art AND something else .. Well, actually it is NOT ASCII art... even though many of these AOLers call it that. They use non-standard characters. And unfortunately for the rest of the internet, they don't use a fixed-width font -- they use the Arial-10 which is standard on AmericaOnline. Laura, i would include it.. but identify it as "text art" not as ASCII art. BTW, have you seen the Japanese text art sites? They do not use ASCII characters -- but some of their pictures are stunning. For example: http://member.nifty.ne.jp/ike/ http://www.tky.3web.ne.jp/~chiquita/arts/index.htm -joan -- _ )\ .'`""`'. / /L /L \ joan stark ; /L ; spu...@juno.com | \_.__._/ | http://www.ascii-art.com jgs \ `----' / `'----'`
