I would urge the good people of a.a-a to steer well clear of this
article.

What is going on at present in one of the groups in the x-post is a
flamewar regards the length a sig should be.  It is *NOT* a sig
contest and never has been a contest.

The poster has x-posted this to a number of groups in an attempt to
add further fuel to a long-running flamewar where some net policemen
in an insignificant demon.* group insist in no uncertain terms that a
sig will be 4 lines or less *or else*.

You have been warned.  Ignore this, and follow-ups like the plague.
