Not knowing for sure whether you are using Win 3.x or Win 9x, I'll give both 
options; use Write (Win 3.x) or WordPad (Win9x) instead of NotePad; then you 
can "Monkey" with the font (ex: change Courier New 12 to Courier New 8 or 6 
to make the picture smaller) and be able to see more or all of the picture.

There's also a PC Magazine utility called SPAD or Super NotePad that has 
similar features and I enjoy using it very much.
