I would also suggest enclosing the text in <TT> <TT> means teletype and the combination of <PRE> and <TT> like this : <PRE><TT> Look no haaa a a a a a a a n d s </TT><PRE> .. should result in all browsers obeying and rendering the text as you wrote it.
