IMO, there is nothing wrong with a group that is totally covered by 
another group.  If nothing ever changed, (which I highly doubt) then
just think of rec.arts.ascii as a 'best of ascii-art' which you can
avoid, and others can chose to read or not.

    But, I think you should wait at least a month before deciding that
rec.arts.ascii is a waste of time.  Sheesh - here's a buck, buy a clue.
