Nice, but a bit big (if you use that you will risk getting flamed in
some newsgroups...).

I like this one, and I think it might make a better base for a
politically correct (well, almost) sig:

`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
   `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/
     y==/        y==/        y==/        y==/
   ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.
,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

Changing the "y" to ">" (just to avoid confusion when I put text in
there later):

`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
   `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/
     >==/        >==/        >==/        >==/
   ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.
,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

And adding the text from the sig:

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/     `=`,'=/
    >==/     Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156       >==/
  ,=,-<=`.   http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/     ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

[1a]

Including the quote:

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/    Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156     `=`,'=/
    >==/     http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/       >==/
  ,=,-<=`.    ,= "I don't think, therefore I'm not" ,-<=`.    ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

[1b]

Hmmm... a bit messy perhaps... how about putting a box around that...

Some attempts:

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/  ___`=`,'=/_____`=`,'=/_____`=`,'=/_____`=`,'=/__   `=`,'=/
    >==/  |  Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156  |    >==/
  ,=,-<=`.|_ http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/ _|  ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

[2a]

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/  | Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156 |   `=`,'=/
    >==/   | http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/ |     >==/
  ,=,-<=`. |_____"I don't think, therefore I'm not"_______|   ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_,-'-'   `-=_

[2b]

Hmmmm... that box needs a bottom... (?)

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/   __`_`,'_/_____`_`,'_/_____`_`,'_/_____`_`_'_/__   `=`,'=/
    >==/   | Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156  |    >==/
  ,=,-<=`. | http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/  |  ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_;-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=_;-'-'   `-=_

[3a]

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.___,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/  | Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156 |   `=`,'=/
    >==/   | http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/ |     >==/
  ,=,-<=`. |     "I don't think, therefore I'm not"       |   ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_;-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=_,-'-'---`-=;,-'-'   `-=_

[3b]

(not much improvement I'm afraid, just more mess :P )

Or perhaps one should make the box stand out and let the spiral form
come in the background...

-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/  .----------------------------------------------.   `=`,'=/
    >==/   | Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156 |     >==/
  ,=,-<=`. | http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/ |   ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_`----------------------------------------------',-'-'   `-=_

[4a]

this one is ok I guess,

-:-.   ,-;".----------------------------------------------.`-:-.   ,-;"
  `=`,'=/  | Martin Otto,  Ald...@gmx.de,  ICQ: 11930156 |   `=`,'=/
    >==/   | http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Hollow/9493/ |     >==/
  ,=,-<=`. |     "I don't think, therefore I'm not"       |   ,=,-<=`.
-'-'   `-=_`----------------------------------------------',-'-'   `-=_

[4b]

but this one looks like a box surrounded by two "X"s... :P

I think I vote for 1a, 2a or 4a.
