Question:  Is there anything than can be done about the problem?  I have
some art I would like to use, but I have a strong distaste for using
anyone's work without acknowledgement.  When someone who *knows* who did
a particular piece sees it posted uncredited, could they do a followup
post saying, "John Doe did that"?  I have written to people on several
occasions to find out if they were, or knew who was, the artist.  I have
never found anyone who knew.
