Question: Creating animation for .plan

Question: Creating animation for .plan

So...

Does everyone who writes ASCII actually have DOS systems? I'm only on
this Unix account. How do I go about writing a Unix ASCII animation file
for my .plan??

I'd really like to make one, but apparently conventional editors don't
except those commands I've been told to put in there...not that I really
know any of them anyway, just that <esc>[L is left or something. It
won't read the character esc.

Is there some way that I can do this? Questions/comments? What do you
think, sirs?
