Hello,
As a person using graphics applications, I would like to inform you that
it is now possible for you to VOTE in a ballot to determine whether each
of the proposed five Usenet Newsgroups listed below will be created.
The vote has been a long time coming (proposals commenced in June 1997)
and the ballot will cease at 23:59:59 UTC on 25th September 1997. The
ballots for the first Call For Votes (CFV) were posted on September 04,
1997 to several Usenet newsgroups. And now the second CFV has recently
been posted to the appropiate newsgroups as of Thursday, September 18,
1997 at 06:27:05 GMT.
In order for you to vote you MUST obtain the relevant CFV document for
the newsgroup ballot you wish to vote in (each one contains it's own
particular code). Look for the following documents in:
news:news.announce.newgroups
or in many of the "comp.graphics.apps.*" newsgroups, for example:
news:comp.graphics.apps.photoshop .
CFV: comp.graphics.apps.illustrator
CFV: comp.graphics.apps.micrografx
CFV: comp.graphics.apps.misc
CFV: comp.graphics.apps.painter
CFV: comp.graphics.apps.xpress
If unable to find a valid ballot in the Usenet Newsgroups, then you may
also be able to retrieve them at:
http://www.dejanews.com/
by searching on the value of "CFV" and/or "comp.graphics.apps".
