The strip is supposed to be mildly amusing all the way through, with no actual punchline. The first panel is mildly amusing because of its anticlimax, where present Nerd Boy abruptly dispels the "Christmas carol" reference. The second is mostly a bridge of exposition, but mildly amusing because Nerd Boy keeps insulting himself. The third might draw a tiny chuckle since Nerd Boy proves to be stupid, and the fourth was meant to be an extrapolation of that: Since he got it in the past, how come he doesn't understand it now? The fourth panel was also meant as a reversal; present NB goes from mocking to being mocked. Anyway, it was a bit of a rushed job. -- OO Joaquim Gndara .||. http://www.Nerd-Boy.net bb jg
