Re: Time for a new FAQ? [ plus a tiny fraction of my ascii collection... ;) ]

Well, my comments are just that I never really got around to reading the
whole of the last FAQ.  The main reason was that it was too long.  When
someone reads a FAQ, (at least when I am) I am not looking for how to
do absolutely everything that can be done. When I looked at the ASCII faq
I just wanted to know the basics, and I could not find them.  I don't 
know if this is already on there, and if it is, my compliments to the
chef, but perhaps a newbie faq in the beginning of the faq.  Or at least
some way for someone without a clue to look at the faq and be able to 
pick out the good parts, then read the rest when they figure out the 
basics. Just a thought, and as I said, for all I know, it has already 
been done.
