The outline and the mouth, making up most of the picture, lock together with whichever eye is in the middle, making it look as if you had two noses and three eyes. =) Incidentally, very much the same effect can be seen by standing in front of a mirror (or staring somebody in the face) and crossing your eyes until two of the eyes you're seeing blend together.
