(You can tell it's my first attempt, right? The messy part is supposed
to be the grassy top of a hill. The fact that I need to write it down
here is telling...)

I think this about the second post that makes it to this newsgroup
(my newsreader kept crashing. Yup, it's crap). So, let me introduce
myself:

I'm Christ van Willegen, 28 years old, from the Netherlands. In daily
life, I tend to program quite a lot (that's what they pay me for).
I've been living together with my gf now for about 1 1/2 years. We
don't have any kids, but we do have 3 cats. They can be worse than
kids, believe me...

My hobbies include reading books, listening and making music (I
sing in a choir). I'm a fan of science-fiction and humor, pref. both
at the same time. For instance, I read Douglas Adams and watch Red
Dwarf.

I've been reading a.a-a since I can't remember when. Scarecrow was
a regular sight around here (that's how long ago it is).

I admire all the artwork around here! JRO's catoons make me laugh,
Pete's 'steins are OK (although 'we' also did lots of quibling (sp?)
around here).

Spunk's drawings are excellent, llizard makes me laugh. You name it,
everybody in here has nice work to show.

If I forgot anyone in the little list above, please don't be offended.
I like most (if not _all_) the work I see here.

I promise I'll practise some more. Straight lines are easy enough, it's
the round bits that I'm not comfortable with (yet). I seriously hope
to do some more drawings in the future.

Well, that's it for the moment. I'll keep semi-lurking in here (reading
a lot, posting some more bits in the future).

Keep up the excellent work, I'll keep reading!

Christ

P.s. My name is pronounced like 'Chris' in English, with a T stuck at
the end. Like the first part of 'Christian'. The name is derived from
the biblical form, but not pronounced as such :-)
