Hi, > 1) Sorry for my poor english ;o) but as I was saying, i'm french ! No problem for most of us. > What is the word for "forum de > discussion" in english ? read point (1) ;o) discussion forum? > 3) I use extended characters because there are... 127 more possibilities ! Thats right but not the point. The problem is that there are many codepages and the characters 127-255 may differ. But in all CPs the characters 32-126 look (mostly) the same (except for some characters like the tilde (~)). > 4) You should be french-speaker tu understand me... or I should learning > english... ;o) The second way is probably the most useful if you want to have fun in usenet. > 5) Are there any software to transform a bitmap file to an ASCII file ? Simply google for "image2ascii converter" and you will find lots of results. The best one IMO is JavE (www.jave.de) which is also a complete ASCII-art drawing program. And no, VB is _not_ slow if you know how to use the Windows API. But that's OT. Joey
