Hi,

Well, I know quite well about the terrible crimes my ancestors have
committed, you are taught to remember them from childhood on over here.
But what do you think has current Germany to do with something that has
happened 60 Years ago? We are no more a nazi state! But as far as I can
tell, the rest of the world just does not recognize it - as soon as someone
needs moeny or something else, he just has to mention "World W..." to the
Bundeskanzler and *zoom*, there's the checkbook.

So, why do you consider me blind to history then? I just do not want to
accept that my generation, one that is born two after the one of these
murderers, does still have to pay for the crimes that happened. Or do you
personally want to be charged for slavery _now_? This might be a little
more way back in history, but why should this even matter?

The case of Germany is something completely different from Iraq one year
ago. Or where did that country actually attack another one, or even was a
threat any more? Gulf War I may have been acceptable, but attacking (a
thogoughly weakened) Iraq at present is just like throwing a fuse into the
dynamite storage that the Middle East currently is.
And again, Nazi Germany was defeated long ago. Using it as an example to
justify making politics in modern days is, well, just not adequate.

Well, but this question was an accusation and an insult itself. Or do you
want to tell me that you just wanted to know, and would have expected me
to even answer honestly? Pah.
And please do not forget your "You are full of shit" - have I used any
sentence like this one in my post? More likely, you seem to be the aggressor
in here.

I did not call you a nazi, I told you that the way of discussion you
showed was not very much different from the way a nazi would do it.
Remember, you insulted me first - or is "you are full of shit" and
"holocaust denier" not an insult? By your third post you have at least
showed that you are able to use arguments and not such loaded language,
but before this was simply not the case. IOW, you seemed like kind of a
funny troll to me... I could even just have responded with "You lost, man
Godwin's law", but giving you a chance seems to have been a good choice.

Anyways, I do not have a problem with you disagreeing, but I for sure
do have a problem with you if you insult me for disagreeing with you.

I do not lack the ability to accept opposition, no, opposition is
something nessecary, you can see in history what a lack of opposition
does lead to. But I completely lack the ability to take such "opposition"
as your first post was seriously.

But I guess this discussion will not lead to any end ever. All the
arguments for one side or the other one have been told in some hundred
thousands of discussions over and over again, and I have never seen one
side to give in to the arguments of the other one, the case is just too
sensitive for doing so. So, let's settle this OT discussion for now, I
will accept that you consider the way America does it right, and you do
accept that I hold the Middle East to be a lot more fragile that your
foreign "politics" could handle. OK?

/n

PS: I tried to keep calm now, so if the language I use seems loaded, I
just lack the ability to express myself properly :)
