Unfortunately, the www seems more efficient as a tool of misinformation,
or simply reinforcing falsehoods. Any misguided belief will have at
least one web site that supports it, so if you turn to the internet for
proof that the earth is flat you will most surely find what you seek.

I think our political system is more dynamic than some of our southern
neighbours' (I mention no names). For example the Progressive
Conservative party which dominated the governments of the 1980s has lost
so much support that they are essentially no more, whereas new upstart
parties like the Reform Party can very quickly rise to the level of
official opposition. Personally I find this more in keeping with the
spirit of democracy than a system where you have two opposing "super
power" parties taking turns in office.

why wouldn't you want all that again?
