|There are no requirement on size or number of characters. There are
|requirements on originality, recognizability, uniqueness. Look at other
|cartoon characters which are made of a few pencil strokes, the fewer the

My cartoon characters aren`t that much bigger than Pete's:

But I would still get angry if anyone meliciously defaced them. I suppose I
am stating copyright, although up till now I have just assumed intelectual
copyright. My copyright requirements are much the same as Pete's... I don`t
mind people making up stories for the characters, so long as no insult or
'piss taking' is involved.
Colin ..... I don`t mind if you want to compare James 'n' Dave to "silly
cows"! (although I suspect you wouldn`t want to)
Bye!

(This is a light hearted message, and nothing I have said about anyone is
intended to be taken too seriously - but my fair copyright conditions are
fairly serious comments. Please don`t start defacing my toons and insulting
me as a result of this message... no insult is intended.)
