I live in Australia and I think over here we claim to be the world's 
largest island and a continent to boot :-) Not even the dictionary bears 
that out as an island is a landmass entirely surrounded by water (but 
smaller than a continent). I don't care either way 8)

But then some history books over here say we had the worlds only 
"peaceful" settlement of a native population... by the English - which is a 
load of bollocks!
