On Usenet? hehe Yeah, but there isn't any ascii-art on it. I use it mainly to capture amusing media files for use in links. Although I do have a decent archive of aa-a dating back to mid 2003 (I lost a few years worth in the dreaded unscheduled purge incident...bastards!), the archives are my record of art, such as it is, and I don't even know if I could completely separate what was my work anyway - it just isn't that important to me. Most of the posts made the AFart25 thread were completely OT IMHO YMMV. The ascii-art posted by me in that thread seems likely to be the OPs object of praise, or maybe they recognized that not all that was posted ever existed before, in which case I thank him. The OA was merely an attempt to be relevant to the post, and sort'a on-topic for the group. This is an ascii-art newsgroup, no? The idea of not being allowed to diddle on ascii-art seems counter to what people have done in this group for a very long time. Being recognized for it should be optional, but having the specter of impropriety leveled against the posting of ANY properly attributed ascii-art, it just seems outrageous.
