Not only that, the sig is a rip-off! He did not make that picture.

If he made it with a program made by James Dill (aka "Kangaroo"),
please note that I have *not* given him permission to use my
pictures! He *knows* this! He has also copied just about *all* the
pictures from my homepage and put them in his "gallery", without
adding any credits! When I asked him to please add in a simple "VK"
(my initials) to the pictures he replied that he "got the pictures
from the group" ("the group" is alt.ascii-art) as if that was ever
a valid excuse for blatant rudeness. I know for a fact that he *did*
get the pictures from my homepage because some of the pictures he
had copied from me have never been posted to any newsgroup - only
on my homepage!

Kangaroo obviously does not *care* about simple politeness. See

For now, it seems that all I can do is flame the people who use
"his" product and hope that enough customer complaints will give
it a bad reputation and cause him to either remove my pictures
entirely or add in the missing credits. Basically he's making
other people come across as *very rude* by turning them into
copyright violators and by using pictures that are much too big
to use in sigs!

I found "MR.SLATE" in another newsgroup, *boasting* about his
sig - as if *he* had made that picture! When I pointed out
that he had not he said I was "killing his artistic talent",
and the sig at the end of *that* post contained yet another of
my pictures - uncredited!

It was not until I got angry enough to track the guy down in
Deja that I found the post quoted above. Until I saw the comment
above about having used "SigZag" I thought that he was being
deliberately and personally rude to *me*! I am a regular poster
to that other group so I assumed that he had got the URL to my
homepage from my sig, gone there, copied my picture and then
come back to group to give me a virtual spit in the face! I
called him a "rip-off artist", and I still think that that name
is appropriate.
