Seriously though, your Outlook Express seems to be set up (as it's default)
to use Arial as it's main posting font. Well done at posting in plain text,
by the way.

The problem is that Arial is a proportional font, and on alt.ascii-art we
make our pics in monospaced fonts (FixedSys, Courier New, Lucida Console).

Try this:

into Notepad (Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad) and save it as
"oefixedsys.reg" (when in the save as window, type the quotes around it
otherwise it may save as oefixedsys.reg.txt.)

Find the file in Windows Explorer (ie Open 'My Computer', then navigate to
where you saved the file)  (it may be on the desktop)

Double-click the file just created, (make sure outlook express isn`t running
at this point) and a message will appear saying that the information has
been entered into the registry. When you restart Outlook Express, it should
be in a proper asciiart friendly font.

There is one point to note, and that is that this won`t work if you 'log on'
to your windows system with a username, since this procedure only updates
the default user (the one you get when you press Esc in the
username/password window). If this is the case for you, drop me an email
(address in sig) and let me know and I will give you further help.
