What is no doubt happening is that you created the ASCII in a non-monospaced font -- in other words, the different letters take up different amounts of space. It will look ok, but in that font only. Netscape news is probably changing the font, messing up the ASCII. The only way to avoid this is to create the ASCII in a monospaced font, in which all letters and spaces take up the same amount of space. The two most common are Monaco and Courier... try one of these. The Rev.
