Is it really ASCII art? or is it text art made in
proportional Arial font and including non-ASCII
characters?
If so, it doesn't do the rest of the internet much
good... many non-ASCII characters are not
read properly by email readers. And the spacing
will be off. Even the same font, Arial, will look
different from system to system.

I've seen some of the 'macros' on AOL...
some are very good as there is much more
flexibility in choice of characters and spacing
of characters. But they are specific to AOL
And they are not considered to be "ASCII art".
