I would love to try (G)... For me, I just sit in front of my computer with a plan in mind and just go away at the keyboard *grin*. It does take some practice to get used to techniques and styles, but like all things, it gets easier the more you do. In terms of what I use, I just get on my MS-DOS text editor and just start placing the letters where I want to put them. I don't use any specific ascii drawing program because I don't think it's really necessary. AcidDraw is an ANSI editor, which is specific for DOS machines and is not the same as ASCII Art. Perhaps AcidDraw has a function for ASCII as well, but then again I don't use the program. Also, look at Scarecrow's ASCII art Web Site or FTP site for helpful hints in the FAQ and also files from other ascii artists. Scarecrow's ASCII Art FTP -> Host: ftp.wwa.com Address: 198.49.174.1 Path: pub/Scarecrow/Info URL: ftp://ftp.wwa.com/pub/Scarecrow/Info Has Jorn's "asciitech", plus 'How-To' and techniques files from Normand and Row, FAQs, and other info files. Also accessible through the Scarecrow's Gopher site. Hope it helps, and hope to see more new art posted! -- Daniel _ _ __| |___ _ _ __ __ _ ____ __ _ __ __ ___ __| |__ __ / o / c/ o` | U |@| ' \ V V | U | / e/ o | U | \__n_\___\__n_|\__n_| |__|_|\_/\_/ \__n_|o\___\__n_|\__n_| 850 N.
