Insert mode is a heck of a lot better than overtype, I mean, what if you
accidentally left out a ~ or a _ somewhere? You'd have to do the whole line
all over again... arrgggh! Forget that.

What are your thoughts on using a ASCII editor like TheDraw so you can
copy and stamp something over and over again to make the right effect (say
like a fence)?
