Re: Langbeiniges Superweib? / Long-legged Superwoman?

On Tue, 02 Nov 1999 09:27:00 GMT, har...@netcologne.de (Tim Hartung)
provoked the following text:

>>>Yes, what a good idea. But I think we don't have much opportunities
>>>here to translate _into_ German :)
>>Not much, but occasionally a German (or Gerwoman :-)) comes in here,
>>forgetting that this is an international NG.
>>As i noticed, it happens more often with Germans than with, for example,
>>Frensh or Finnish people (no offence).
>Hehe, maybe thats because more Germans are in the Internet than
>Frenchs and Finnish people? ;)

I don't know, but i fear that most German internetters have been on
T-online first and then swiched to internet, which is a big switch.
I also noticed that a lot of Germans never even learned to read, write or
speak English...

>>>>P.S. i have a font called "Harting", is there any relation between you and
>>>>the font?
>>>Oh, is this a nice font? Feel free to send it to my Email if you like.
>>Okay, check mail.
>Not here till now.

Strange, it _should_ be, or have you taken any anti-spam measurements in
your addy?

>>>No, I'm not related to Fontmakers nor i'm doing them by myself. I'm
>>>just a fan of ascii-arts but also not creative enough to do them by
>>>myself.
>>Oh, c'mon! Surely you have tried once in a while to draw something?
>Never, I don't have an idea how to start.

In that case, i'm gonna give you an assignment.
We'll start simple, draw me a square.

>>>Hope you had a nice Halloween.
>>Thanks, but we don't celebrate that in Holland...
>Neither we do in Germany normally but it becomes more important from
>year to year. This year we've had a lot of Halloween-Parties,
>Halloween-TV-Program and such things. Maybe the German tendency to
>Halloween will also reach the Hollnder. :)

I think not, most people here have banned even Santa Claus!
