In article <325...@news.novanet.net.au>, Gail Pamphilon <gai...@novanet.net.au> writes >Now I'm confused. I thought the pentagram (despite its history, which >I'm vaguely acquainted with) was just another name for the Star of >David, which is the Jewish symbol of faith. Isn't that right? Nope. Star of David = 6 points (overlapping triangles). Originally a fertility symbol: work out for yourself waht the two triangles are. Pentagram = 5 points. Pente is 5, like in pentathlon. @@@ @@@ @("} {")@ @(.(.)\__ __/(.).)@ @@@) ( """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" ) (@@@ ( . ) dav...@xemu.demon.co.uk ( . ) \ ) / http://www.demon.co.uk/ \ ( / \\.-' ,' castle/x/xemu.html^^^ ', `-_// // ~-~ """""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" '~ \\ / \ "Consciousness is a product of the brain no more & no less than earwax is a product of the ear"-Martin Hunt on a.r.s
