oh, btw martin, the was sort of an 'ascii windows' --quarterdeck's desqview. 
it's no longer supported or marketed tho. if you can find a used copy cheap
it's worth a look. runs on 8088 & up. task swithing on a <286, multitasks 
on a 386 or better, does something between on a 286 :)
