the moderation thing

the moderation thing

First of all, I must say I would love to see this group go to rec.*
I even originally felt that keeping flame/make money fast/greencard posts
out of here is a good idea. However, I got to think a little bit
further. I've actually created things that were spinoffs from some of these
flamewars. For example, during one of the flamewars I picked up a piece
of ascii which I turned into a sign for the local university bulletin board
system, this is what I created:

.................................................................
..............................................,,:;+=====;,.......
...........................................;+=============:......
..........................................,=======;;=======......
.............................,,:;+=====;,.,=======.;======;......
..........................;+=============:,============+.........
.........................,=======;;=======,=============.........
.................========,=======.;======;,=======;;======.......
.......;======..=========,============+:..,=======.;=======......
.....;=======;+...=======,=============...,==============........
.......;=======...=======,=======;;======.,==========+...........
.......;=======...=======,=======.;=======.......................
.......;=======...=======,=============..........................

.......,;++++++;;;;:,............................................

I also picked up some lettering that I'm currently creating a figlet
font for, this is what I believe was part of the original post:

So in a place where ideas can come from the strangest of places, I don't
feel that moderation is proper.
