Jilly, you don't need to specify the font. In fact, it's better if you
don't, because not every computer has "CourierNew". Instead, surround
your drawings (which look fine to me, by the way, but that's because I
happen to have the fonts you use on my computer) with the <pre> tag.
That way you do not need to use the character entity for the spaces.
 
Also, ASCII-art uses only one font-fixed width. You'll want to fix this
lovely picture you did of the city (because as you see, it's screwed up
when it is in only one font - although I kind of like it this way too).
