 well known picture of Merriday Beth Kommor which is on my

 Wenner's naked Adam.  

 The way the model has swept her arm back in among her long thick 
 hair is pretty characteristic of that picture, though I see a few 
 edges have been changed to straight lines where they used to be shaded.


 Actually this doesn't really add much.  Think of the lighting 
 conditions for the original image... if it is fairly dim light
 so that the edge of the model's arm tones gently through shadow 
 into the textures behind it, we would not see hard sharp edges 
 of her fingers and toes either (they were correctly rendered 
 as fading gently  into  shadow too).

 A problem for erotic ascii as that the photo can make it's 
 impression simply by showing a lot of flesh.  But with an outline
 drawing, if something distinctive about the model's character
 does not come through in expression and pose even when reduced
 to basics, then all women start to look like all other women 
 and all men like all other men.  Particularly with drawing from
 fantasy, people seem to start from an even more limited range
 of human types and usable poses than the average photo-set.


 Actually, what I would ALSO be interested in seeing, maybe taken
 from photo --- and it would also have to catch a lot of character
 in face and pose when reduced to line drawing --- would be 
 some other good  ** action **  pictures of human figures.  
 The ice dancer leaping, the competitive athlete jumping,  
 the workman swing a sledgehammer, the musician energetically
 playing guitar or drums,  the soldier crouching to fire, etc;
 figures in action and movement which capture facial expression.

 It is hard to capture this in photography,  and even harder 
 to get the impression over into line drawing.  Frames from action
 comics would also be nice, though the convention of super-heroes
 wearing masks (which hide part of their expression) is annoying. 
 Likewise the ubiquitous Lara Croft and other game figures.  
 Most cartoon or puppet things -- SouthPark, Muppets, and the like --
 seem to have been done at one time or another.
