well it looks like most of the good/readable fonts 
form there are from 5-8 in hight and 3-7 in length

so if i go with a 6 wide 7 tall char standerd that i should
be able to acomidate a fairly robust number of fonts while
keeping readablity good
if any one has any ideas on this let me know
